oThe Walking Dead
o Portal 2
o Bioshock Infinite
o Other demanding games
So tell me what you think

You could easily play any of those games, but I would get another 8G stick of ram(or just 2 4Gs) because the motherboard and processor both need dual channel.
Portal 2 isn't really demanding. None of those games in particular are.
Good build, just a little overkill for those games.

Will run everything fine, if I were you I would take the PSU down to a 520W and give it 8 more GB of RAM though.
Why more RAM?
8 GB is plenty enough.
8 GB is plenty enough.
Controversy between 8GB of RAM or 16GB..lets see how this turns out.
I'd go with 8
Hmm, well, some do say that 16GB is ideal for recording and rendering.
16g is nice but definitely not required
It is when you are recording and rendering. Those things take up a lot of ram.
no they dont
over the last years i have recorded and rendered thousands of videos on 2-8gig setups
the difference between 4 and 8gig is so low its not even worth mentioning
the reason why you would want more ram in order to produce videos is so you cut/fx programm works faster and you gett a better live playback if you are using lots of fx
this only applys to the project not the rendering
the i7 will speed up render times by a lot
and there is 0 need to waste money on a ssd

NODE18Your parts are fine but if the PC is for gaming, get an i5 processor, not an i7 because there are less threads with more power per thread, i7 distributes its power along the threads which decreases the performance. So save your money by buying an i5 core processor and with the money you saved, you could buy a larger SSD if you would like.

Get the AMD FX-8350. It has 8 cores and is way better for recording. And if you get this, make sure you get a water cooler if you want to overclock.

Now, here we have a bit of a problem. Someone mentioned getting an AMD Processor, but honestly, I didnt think that having more cores meant better performance. Thoughts?
I'd recommend getting it because it's 100$ cheaper and you get something better for your money. Also, if you want that processor change your motherboard and get water cooling as I said in the last post.
it does if the application you are running is capable of using multiple threads
most video editors are and as such it speeds up render time

o_o Seems good..but what do others think?
One HUGE issue with this build. It has windows 8.
no
the issue is that he is giving microsoft money
but otherwise its completly fine to get windows8

You can make Windows 8 like Windows 7. (Partly)

Windows 8 is fine.
Get the 8350.
.__. So much stuff to choose from..and now the issue of OS's..just wow. Im thinking about both builds, but the one that SkyTechKid posted seems to interest me.
ZemorWhy more RAM?
e-peen.

"NVIDIA is better because it costs more lol"
Umm..well..interesting conversation going on here.
tl;dr
8 GB RAM is fine
NVIDIA isn't necessarily superior
but Intel processors are still on top
Have a nice day.

Well than, is that a no to this computer? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TsPH
Take out the 16 GB, only keep 8
Throw out the SSD for another hard drive, use the second HDD for all of your recordings
Liquid cooling isn't really necessary
Throw out the FX 8350 and get an i5 3470, much better performance (personal experience, and the price isn't that much more)
Everything else is pretty much great.

Well, heres what I decided on!

He doesn't like AMD because he had an AMD-TK53
EVGA GeForce GTX 670 4GB Video Card
you will never use those 4gig
you will never use those 4gig
Titan users will never use those 6 gigs.
4 Gigs will run anything you throw at it momentary.
2 Gigs will run anything you throw at it momentary.
More memory is mainly aimed toward multi-monitor users.
Actually, I will be using 2 monitors.
Yeh i agree with sky tech kid. i have this processor overclocked and use my pc for recording rendering etc and it runs perfect. ps i also hav 8gb ram
Alright. Opinions? Im still thinking about the one that SkyTechKid posted, and seems that many other people agree.
It seems fine, just go for 8 gb of ram instead of 16
Alright. I just hope its good for recording the latest games. Don't want to waste my money on this, if im not going to get any use out of it? Am i right?
My recommendation:
8 gigs RAM
i5 3470
Dual hard drives (one for recording), toss out SSD
Everything else is fine.
