Android because they aren't Apple products.
Edit: you should make a poll for this.

Android my screen doesn't crack from a two-inch fall
I've owned multiple iPhones, I drop them on a daily basis, and recently threw my 4S, the most fragile iPhone to date, about 15 feet across concrete, not a scratch.
Like 90% of my Apple product owning schoolmates seen otherwise
my friend dropped hers from her ankle to the floor and the led and screen broke
my friend dropped hers from her ankle to the floor and the led and screen broke
I've only seen one broken, out the the 8+ iPhones/iPods/iPads my family owns. Also, cases aren't that expensive, I previously owned an otter box and that thing can take anything xD
iPhone!!!!!
I like apple for their iphones and ipods but besides for that they absolutely suck.
Android because there's more options to choose from and they're cheaper because there's more competition in the Android market.
android is best, iphones get 300 dollars more expensive every new version
iPhone because they are actually fast enough to use and much better apps .-.
Where is the report button for this contains false information
Better apps? Apps for iOS just comes before Android apps usually. Also cost more. They both get the same apps most of the time.
You're totally giving false information. Unless you are a troll.
Reason for iPhone: it just looks sexy, that's about it.
Reason for Android: More customizable, cheaper, ok looking, doesn't break as easy, most bigger
So Android is my vote
This is my opinion
I'm not hating, I had an iPhone, also an Android

It's really a preference.
I've owned an iPhone for awhile, and I love it. Great apps, smooth interface and overall great design. I found most androids harder to use, but they have many more choices for the physical phone.
After jailbreaking my iPhone, I wouldn't get any other phone. The jailbroken iPhone is the best, in my eyes.

It's a hard choice between android and a jailbroken iphone.
I've had my iPod jailbroken for a while, and I freaking loved it. You want glass icons? There you go. You want any game? Here it is.
But i do like android. I guess I'm just a sucker for customization.

Nope. "Unlocking" is in some states, I believe. Jailbreaking is like rooting an android system, but easier most of the time. It gives you more customizable options, you can change just about anything you want. I even overclocked my phone xD
I would choose an android over an iPhone for many reasons...
1. They are fairly priced. You won't pay an extra $300 for a phone. And it gets cheaper over time so you could buy a second hand
2. The screen of some androids have better protection from scratching compared to an iPhone. Seriously, $300 for something that gets scratches?
3. It's not always the same thing. You could see the new differences in each version of an android. iPhones just get bigger, thinner, and the new 5c for me was just an iPod touch in a new case.
4. Androids have better apps. You get cleaning systems, notifiers. iPhone's apps are just photo editors and games.
5. Androids are a hell ton faster. I compared the speed between an iPhone 4 and a Samsung Galaxy s4, and even when Samsung had tons of media, apps, and others (tons of them), there were more than 50% data left. Without the SD card.
6. Androids are, for me, for the smart people. Many iPhone users I know get more viruses, adware and malware on PC's and even Macs.
7. Androids are unique. You get to see all sorts of gui, and looks. Apple products all look the same just being more overpriced than the other one.
8. Pizza.
There you go.

Let's take this one at a time...
1: Not gonna argue there. iPhones are higher priced, but for good reason.
2: Look for my last posts on here, never had any issues with scratches.
3: There's quite a difference. My brother has a 4, I have a 4S and while they physically appear the same, my runs insanely faster. Even without my jailbroken features.
4: Lol, this a joke?
5: The iPhone 4 is outdated. The S4 is newer and better. Try comparing it to a 5S.
My brother 4 runs slow as crap. The 4 is just outdated.
6: This is a complete bullcrap statement, and is completely false. There's no phone for "smart people". There's just phones. Everyone get's viruses at some point or another. How smart or computer techy they are doesn't matter.
7: While physically iPhone models don't look very different, their software is nice and easy to use. They have various models in multiple colours, and I find the look they have nice, personally. Not to mention that their hardware upgrades quite abit with each new version. Don't judge a book by it's cover xD
8: Yes.

Most of your answers to his opinions are completely based off your own Iphone...
I own an android, and all my friends have IPhones and I see their phones mess up/break CONSTANTLY. I agree that the Androids are faster, and they hold a lot more data than the iphones (which is also customizable via SD cards). Also, I think IPhones are basically a social statuses shoved into an object because people think they are so much cooler with an IPhone.
My second opinion is that, Androids are just (overall) better than Iphones through customization, speed, storage, looks (in my opinion), app selections. More specifically, I absolutely LOVE the widget feature with the Androids. Don't know what widgets are Iphonies? Widgets can be dumbed down to a window on your home screen that does an action without you opening an application.
There you go, there is my opinion.
From a proud owner of an undamaged Galaxy S4.

Not just my own iPhone, my sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, aunts and more.
My other aunt has an android, so do some of my cousins. I find iPhones better overall.
Also, I have widgets. Again, get a jailbroken iPhone. Best phone avaliable, IMO. As for space, never been a problem. I'm constantly downloading apps, taking pictures, videos and whatnot, with my 13 usable gbs, just upload things to a cloud and no problem. All iPhones I've used have been faster than every android I've used, and I love playing with phones xD
But, it really boils down to preference. I prefer iPhone, you obviously prefer Android, that's that.

THERE MADE A POLL
iphone becus quality.
Better be sarcasm. If not, I don't like your preference.
pls, champagne coloured aluminium = quality
The way you judge people on their opinions on this thread is weird.
i don't think he's judging me, just my opinion

Sorry, had to interject here.
I own a iPhone 4 (this is an old version too - the iPhone 5 should be compared to an S4) and my dad owns a Samsung Galaxy S4 and we were both testing it. Galaxy S4 (brand new) was super slow in calling, and opening up normal apps and whatnot. My dad wants to really throw it away because it gets him angry with all the glitches and speed when he is working, making him less efficient.
EDIT: If this becomes a bit flamy, I will have to lock.
Agreed. ^
//I dont know how I did it, but I can finally post on threads .-.
I would get the S5 but I had to use an iPhone ~_~

The OP does.
Nobody caught my "IPhonies" nickname, I sad.

The flip phone I've had since like 2006. Get on my level.
IPhone because almost everything works on it.
We will never get anywhere, Android users, cause IPhones dominate the market cause everyone "has to have one".
But seriously, Androids are just overall better.
But seriously, Androids are just overall better.
Android all the way.
1. Customization without rooting. You can install different launchers and themes.
2. Way faster. Look at the flagship phones for Android: 2GB - 3GB RAM. 801 Snapdragon processor, etc.
3. Way more functional software. Or the UI, depends on what company.
4. Storage expandability. Some phones come with 50GB free dropbox storage. Some comes with a micro SD card slot up to 128GB
5. iPhones are for elderly, kids, people who don't know about tech and always go for those popular companies because they have a catchy name.
If you have an iPhone. Look at the HTC One M8, Galaxy S5, Note 3, Nexus 5.

1. agreed
2. where is this info coming from? this is a galaxy s5 vs iphone 5s, and it looks like the 5s is the winner. considering the s5 is from 2014 and the 5s is only 2013, iphone is superior imo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_Zd_6Qk2X0
3. what does this even mean..(matter of opinion?)
4. eh, 64gb is more than enough for me at the moment.. like it's a phone, how much stuff do you need on it..
5. while i agree that, "iPhones are for elderly, kids, people who don't know about tech" the reason you stated as to why is false. the real reason is because apple ui is more intuitive and user friendly. also that certain group of people is not the only ones who choose to buy iphones, i know quite a bit about tech and i use one.

IPHONE HAS SIRI

Some Androids has the exact same concept as "Siri", her name is Galaxy. <3
I know a girl who has gone through 9 iphones in half a year.
For me I don't own a phone (lol what generation am I from)
Instead of a phone I own 4 computers with skype.
