Java RunTime Parameters keeps resetting.

Can any one tell me why JAVA keeps clearing the parameters I set, causing m to have to re-enter them time and time again?

Open Java (Control Panel)
Click on the JAVA tab
Click the VIEW button
Put - -Xincgc -Xmx4096M Into the RUNTIME PARAMETERS.
Click OK
Click APPLY
Click OK

This is suppose to be a one time set setting but I have noticed that I have to keep inputting the parameters every couple of days. (I use Java 7 since I am a 64b OS)

Can any one tell me why it keeps resetting? (Yes I have the latest version too.)
