In the lands of Sek, the Kingdom of Arrakim, a desert land, made of sandstone buildings, and full of people, combats the Kingdom of Carrak, a humid land, full of wonders and water, with quite a few people as well. These two kingdoms have been in a state of eternal war, with one side gaining on the other, only to lose their recently gained territory. Hundreds have fallen, and many have fled. The few who fled crossed the mountain, and went into uncharted lands. The years passed, and the war eventually ended, with neither side gaining any land or territory, only losing mass amounts of life. But those who fled had created their own lands, and their own kingdom of sweat and blood, which is mostly wooden Mottes and Baileys placed on defendable land. Only the capital uses stone for walls and streets, and it is where many crowd, creating disease and vermin to infest. But the people there were happier than they once were. That is, until Arrakim and Carrak began to question their whereabouts. They allied together, and sent out searching parties. One part was most successful in discovering them. They set up camp, and observed. One day, a scout from the newly established kingdom, named Skalas, came upon two sentries speaking about the new objectives, and he ran as fast as he could to the capital, and requested audience with the King. The King began training a larger army, and requested that the court mag do something. the court mage went into the Caverns of The Dead, and requested audience with the Great and Powerful Lich residing there.The Lich called upon the powers of Rath'ma, and cast a dire curse upon the searching parties, transforming them into horrible creatures, deformed and wicked. Such magical powers burst a Life Wellspring, causing pandemonium in the magical currents, transforming people into deformed and wicked beings seemingly at random. Of course, with all this going on, the Demons of Hell had to investigate, and they added their own terror by releasing Archons upon the whole lot. They appointed Malleus Arch-Demon of the whole affair, and went back to Hell.

Backstory: Malleus was the inducted into Demon Kind millenniums ago, after years of torture and suffering, he developed Hatred. He became Arch-Executioner, and dealt with human prisoners. He was tasked with Administrating their torture and prison life. He "examplified" certain humans who seemed to be trying to lead the others to freedom, basically anyone who looked at him funny. He was greatly respected by the right demons, and aspired for power. He got that power when Arch-Demon of All Demonkind Vralkus put him in charge of the corruption of Skalas.
He was most pleased by this, and chose a select few demons to follow him into th Overworld, to torture the human denizens. He quickly seized a Motte and Bailey, and demonized it, causing the wood to turn to Hellstone and the grass and dirt to burn, and the moat to turn into lava, and the skies redden. Malleus was no a subtle demon when it came to embellishment. You could see the place from miles away, and cower in fear in it's unholy presence. He established a Demon Gate, with which the demons who were tasked with aiding him cam through, from Imps to Orcs to Wyrms. His power spread, and a great number of humans were corrupted, and sent to destroy other fortresses. He then captured another Motte and Bailey, this one much more defendable that the last. He moved the Demon Gate here. As the last one, the lands around it changed, causing even more fear to manifest in the humans. Then the first Heroes came to slay the Terror. They made excellent slaves. Then Malleus decided to make his own twist to the conquest. He captured a very undefendable Motte and Bailey, and placed a special, large crystal in it. This crystal would attract many human adventurers towards it. He filled the place with traps and foes, to inhibit the progress of the humans. He then sat back and watched as human after human were destroyed by his trap. He then made a few more, and watched as the humans practically destroyed themselves. He then moved on from his torturing of foolish adventurers, and returned to conquest. He eventually either destroyed or demonized every human bastion in the Southwest, the Southeast being covered with the shambling Deformed Ones caused by The Lich, and the North being inhabited by rather frightful humans. He created a great fortress of Hellstone, and Lava, overlooking Lake Arra, which housed, on a large island, The Capital of Skalas. The Capital of Skalas could look from it's walls and see the Dark Bastion on the cliff side, and watch as imps and Deformed Ones scrambled down it's sides, and slid into the water, and sink fishing vessels, then return to the Dark Bastion. Most of the city was covered in Hell Storms, the sky type that covered Demon Zones, and Malleus laughed in glee, as he moved the Demon Gate, and prepared for the assault. Backstory: Mortuorum, was inducted into Demon kind, millennium ago. After years, upon years, of being resurrected by a Necromancer, and struck down again. He became a being obsessed with Death, and Disease. He was always into Necromancy, but when he became a Demon, oh boy, his powers increased almost one-hundred fold. He was the Arch-Necromancer in Hell. He was also tasked with retrieving the souls of those who had been resurrected by Necromancers. He was also tasked with helping Necromancers become Liches. At one point, he helped a Necromancer who had summoned him. It was a nice period in his life. He helped the Necromancer, who had bested him. He taught him much of what he knows today. When he returned, most demons had mocked him for losing to a mere mortal. He demonstrated his powerful magic on them. They stopped mocking him. He never really sought power, but the Arch-Demon, Vralkus put him in charge of most Necromancy in Skalas.
Mortuorum, did not much care. When he entered Skalas, he did it on his lonesome. He took residence in a well defended cave. He opened a portal, where the undead, and the diseased could emerge. He likes the cave. But, he is aware of a presence. An old friend. He usually leaves, and causes havoc among the mortal population. Striking them ill, and raising armies of the undead to attack the mortals. When he leads an attack, it strikes fear in the mortal population. He leaves a trail of disease, and death wherever he goes. And Necromancers highly respect him. Especially Liches. He is a master of most arcane arts, but usually dwells in Necromancy, and Disease. He resurrects those his armies wipe out, and they grow. He is a force to be reckoned with.
Mortuorum, is rarely seen by mortals. And, most that see him, see him among the "Dead Lands". Places where the undead, and the diseased, outnumber the living. They are usually areas that are hard to defend, and little life can be found there. Mortuorum, will drag some poor souls to his portal. Where they are devoured by the undead. He speaks with other demons, and plots with them, for maximum efficiency.
Abilities: Can raise the dead, Can control most disease, Can shapeshift into an old man, in tattered robes to blend in. Standard Rot demon abilities.
Anything Else: He delights in eating living flesh.

Abilities: Spray fireout of his mouth . his blades are as hot as red hot coals. he can snap his fingers and light a fire can shoot long flames out of his hands and fireballs

Backstory: Veteris Ossa Magi, is an ancient Lich. He was once a mortal being, but that was so long ago. He does not usually talk about his past, nor does he care to. Veteris, does remember something about being a Mage once. He was the deadliest at his academy. If memory serves correct. He eventually grew bored of conventional magic. He was quite a young, eager, and naive man when this occurred.
Veteris Ossa Magi, being such a man, decided to explore the darker arts. He was very eager to explore these arts. Very eager, indeed. While exploring these arts, an accident befell him. He summoned a lesser demon, but to both his joy, and dismay, a higher demon appeared. Not being able to control it, the demon attacked, and injured Veteris Ossa Magi.
The now, deformed, Veteris Ossa Magi, was shunned by society. They blamed magic for his injuries. And they were, to some extent, correct. But, it was his being naive, that the demon attacked him. Veteris Ossa Magi, was not disciplined, and expected a lower demon to appear, thus, was not prepared to cast the spell to control the demon.
Veteris Ossa Magi, later explored the dark arts, again. This time, he was prepared to cast the spell on the demon. He summoned the same demon, and immediately cast the spell. It failed, and Veteris Ossa Magi, resorted to conventional magic, for defense. He stunned the demon, and recast the spell to assure dominance. This time, the demon was loyal.
After many years, and studying with the demon, they parted ways. The demon, however, respected Veteris Ossa Magi. Instead of parting ways, it stayed with his master. They studied the dark arts, in even more depth. Especially the forbidden art of Necromancy...
The demon, was called back home eventually. To serve a higher purpose. And Veteris Ossa Magi continued his studies of Necromancy. He had advanced much, and he was now an old man. An old mortal man, mind you. He managed to ressurect a few... "non-mortal" beasts. More specifically, corpses that had been in a symbiotic relation with demons.
Veteris Ossa Magi, now near death, had learned of the ancient practice of "Lichdom". He quickly set about mastering the art, and eventually became a Lich himself. He was a fierce being, resurrecting the dead, and sending them to their doom. Usually in battle with mere mortals.
Abilities: Necromancy, Master of almost all of the arcane arts.

ClueUltra, your accepted, but demons can't die, they are just banished back to Hell if they are killed, which makes defeating a demon in Hell near impossible.

The Lich isn't a demon, he is an undead figure, and extremely OP, and his rights are owned by GetaClue.inc, and you would need a Super duper uber awesome extreme application that would take up at least 3 pages, because he is extremely OP.

Could their possibly be a... "lower level" Lich? That serves The Lich. But isn't as OP.
Being a Lich is perfectly allowed, as they do exist, but you are probably the only one who would get accepted, because I don't trust anyone else with the responsibility. Just take the Archon Application, and change the magic types to be more Dark and Bloody.
Also, some people may exploit The Lich as an NPC, but only I and a select few others could exploit him, if anyone is thinking that.

Backstory:Phlox never had parents he was born in the wild and raised by hyenas he learned to hunt build and survive on his own he wondered what parents were like.A day in the woods for him were always good.When he was a baby the hyenas always pecked at his liver.Eventually the liver fell out and amazingly he was alive all that extra weight weighed him down from being good with a sword.Several years later he turned five and hunted his first fox.A messenger from the king was on a journey and found Phlox living in the woods he said "Whats a little guy doing in the woods". The messenger eventually brought him to a kingdom (too lazy for a name). The king of this kingdom always wanted a son but never got around to "mating" with a female.He raised the kid as his son.

Backstory: Well, Enter was born in a pretty normal life. Weeellll.... not exactly normal. But normal to him. He was raised in a desert. It wasn't very fun and nice there, as you would expect, but Enter passed the days by playing games with friends and camels. It wasn't the best way to grow up, but it worked. It worked pretty well. To a certain standard to where he was raised properly.
When his family moved to a different town, back across the mountains, after the war was over, Enter felt sad. Quite sad. I mean, who wouldn't be sad when they move across the country, away from all friends and family? Enter WAS an only-child. No brothers, no sisters. He relied on his friends back home to entertain him, and keep him from just sitting on the doorstep, waiting away the days. Nothing much else happened until he was eighteen.
That's when he moved out. Moved out for his own life, and such stuff. He moved back to his home town, but only to find nothing. The entire town had been burned down. Collapsed. Turned into ashes of sadness. Disgusting. Death. Fire. Yes, even a bit of fire remained over the charred corpses. "Who could've done this?" He asked himself.
Abilities & Skills: Uh... He's human. What can humans do that's really special? Well, err.... He can... uhm... I don't know. He's not particularly good at anything!
Anything Else: My Pokemon cards bring all the boys to the yard, and they'll like, "Wanna trade cards?" And I'm like, "Damn right, they're better than yours! I can trade you but I'd have to charge!"

It was born of fire and flame. It slowly rose it's way up, from the gutters in which it was born. It's birth was in the lowest area of Hell, in the... 'slums' of Hell. This provided few opportunities for It to rise to It's one goal in life. Power. That was the only thought on It's mind from the time It was born, until the time that It reached It's goal. I like ponies. It aspired for power, taking every opportunity to 'rise on the food chain' One day, It was high up in the 'food chain', in a very high position. *Flashback ripple dissolve thingamabob* It was resting in It's large home, lava running down the wall in small streams. Smoke filled the air, and it was exceptionally warm, even for Hell. It soon dozed off, rocked to sleep by the popping of bubbles in the lava pits. A fleeting image of a shadow passed over It's sleeping body. It's master was out on official business, so It was all alone. Little did It know that It's master was just outside, laying in a pool of black blood. The intruder soon left with all of It's masters possessions. It woke up an hour later, in a bare home, completely devastated. *End flashback.* It lost everything that night. Down at the bottom again, It was full of rage. It had a very hard time crawling up to that sort of position, he belonged to a Demon of the royal court. It was forced to use sneakier, less... recommended ways to get back into a position of power. I know what your'e thinking, a pet isn't a very high position. It used it's powers to convince people to give it's owner a higher position. Soon, everyone believed that he was good luck, because anyone who owned him mysteriously grew higher on the 'food chain' of Hell. Are you even reading this? He soon came into the ownership of quite a high ranking demon. However, this Demon was strong of will and of mind. It was never able to control this master, and this master was cruel. It was yelled at often, and beat even more often. It did not like being beat, so It fought back. The master was strong, and nearly killed It. It was left broken, bruised, and bleeding on the streets. One head had been beaten especially badly. ((don't you love how I always use that as an excuse for insanity?)) The trauma sent It down a path of insanity, along with a cryptic wisdom.
