1.8 Lag Issues?
I'm finding it really hard to play on single player and Multiplayer, it ran fine before the update. Anyone else having these problems?

No lag for me? I Got only like 1gb left.. Big woop go to taskmanager and set ur minecraft priority to high..
I was in the middle of fighting a skelly and minecraft froze for ages and I couldn't do anything else in case the game unfroze and I was killed

If you're not experiencing lag, why did you post on this thread? Go play minecraft with your amazing lag free computer and stop being a scrub.
I hardly get any lag.
Its the minecraft engine contributing most of the lag, but you could try getting 4Gb RAM and allocating 2Gb to minecraft.
Totally having this problem. I'm considering getting more RAM for my laptop. 4g should do the trick...unless it's the engine.
Same here, P4 2.6GHz, ATi Radeon 9550XL, 2GB RAM, ran on fullscreeen, 1440 900, at 80FPS average, now on 1.8 i get 20FPS and it studerrs alot, Hope they Fix it :/

I joined a mp server and I couldn't even move, I don't think that's to-do with the server's internet connection. It definitely needs looking into by the team.

I agree it is far laggier than the prereleases. I'm running a localhost server on a good machine, so the lag must be coming from the game not from any internet connectivity.
I do i always recorded without lag but its kinda' laggy now
