My reason is that I don't find the concept of a haunted Zelda game, well, scary. Don't get me wrong, it is a good ghost story, but it isn't scary. The fact that, after playing the game, the user goes to clever bot is just like, well, this.
"Hey, I played a haunted game. To Clever Bot!"
That isn't very... scary either.
That is why Ben Drowned isn't scary. I have other reasons, but that is the stupidest one.
