I posted skins and got to about Level 17 then posted the epic seeds I found and levelled up some more. I posted my texture pack and in its short time of being up its almost got 1000 downloads
Make things, advertise them and link them to the PMC page. That's what I did with my texture pack on Minecraft Forums.
