I am having problems loading a skymap for my renders. Whenever I try and load it, it says that there is a problem with my java and it has run out of memory. I have updated java, and I know my computer is in good shape and should be able to handle this. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try use the included .bat or .sh file. Edit it and raise the memory that is allocated to the program. You could also change the ammount of threads (cores) chunky has in the settings you see when selecting a region of a map.
Try allocating more memory to Java, and if you launch chunky from a console you can easly adjust how much memory you want it to have.
