Dear planet minecraft community,
As a long playing minecraft player and website developer, I have always
wished to make apps and games, that can help people or entertain.
Recently after learning a programming language called python, I started
this journey and started making my first app, DragonBot, which is very similar
to iphones implementation of Siri. Although unoriginal, it is more of a adaptation,
since so far progress has shown it is better then the built in android voice helper.
I want to continue and expand DragonBot development as well as make voice
activated games built into it like for example, a little minecraft mini-game.
My post is here for finding a co developer to help me make the app, someone
who qualifies in writing python/java which can be made possible with pyjnius.
I'm looking for someone with history of developing plugins for minecraft, who I
assuming wants to expand there resume with something such as making an app.
I have already made DragonBot, but with your support, we can make it look
better, and act better.

I can help, I have tried to make an android app in Java JDK/Eclipse, so I can help but, it didn't work so here;

How did you learn these? I am 13 and have made an Android game and would love to learn some of them... I made my game with a program and it did not require much coding but it uses its own type of code which is a mix of java and a few others I think simplified.
Lol, I'm 13 too. And the languages I listed are pretty basic. Other then c++ and c#, they can take merely days to learn. I learned python in two weeks and it is considered a medium-hard language. Html, css, and php(With sql of course!) take only a day or two to learn each. I credit my programming skills to http://codeacademy.com , its a great site for learning how to code!
Oh and by the way, your program, is it GameMaker and the language you speak of GML?

Thats a pretty big collection of skills! I know html, css, python, little bit of c++ and c#,
little bit of php, and little bit of sql.

Don't put words in other people's mouths. I know python, C++, java, TI Basic, and TI Assembly. I just do not want to help because there is an application similar to this called Iris (siri backwards) and it works fine.
Cool that you know python, and about this app, its going to be a bit of a voice activated arcade WITH features that siri has like weather, location, and so on.

Rip off tutorials? What's wrong with following a tutorial? If you don't know what you're doing, a tutorial is your best bet.
I have no problem with people following a tutorial. It's when they upload the mod they created from the tutorial (which 100s of others have created) with no changes. It clutters the mod section with useless mods that will probably never make it to the next update

This is an awful way to find someone for this project. You can't trust something like this to just any random person..
I suggest asking your actual friends.
I really don't care about trust issues. This isnt some huge project
with million dollar potential. Just a fun little app and I want someone with
experience to help me make it. I only have a couple of friends who program,
and they're all busy with college because I'm a couple years younger.

I've seen people on this community show there apps before, its just a matter
of language as I use python and a significant amount of people here who program
use java, but a java programmer is still priceless to the development of this app.
