If you already have a mac, install windows on your mac to test it out!
But if you are used to macs you will probably hate windows.
Even though mac os is better imo I was once a windows user and i hated switching to macs because I was used to windows. Of course most people on gaming forums only care about games, and it's the only thing windows does better.
The most important thing in mac os is that its coherent, unlike windows, I learned computing on windows, im used to it , but it still feels awkward.
Personally I prefer linux, but this thread is mac vs windows...

The only reason Mac is more expensive is because Apple makes all their own hardware. Microsoft depends on Dell or Lenovo to make computer for them to put Windows on. I've always used Macs. I love the OS and the style of the hardware. My MacBook Pro is by far the sexiest computer I've ever used. (Yes, I just called my computer sexy, It also has a name, so what?)

I'm in favor of Mac hardware. The price is exponentially high because of the great hardware. If I had the money I would get Mac hardware while putting either Windows 7 or a Linux OS on it. I'm not in favor of the Max OS in general since I haven't messed around with it much.
My opinion is kind of mixed. To be precise, I personally prefer Windows, because Windows is better for programming and tinkering in my experience.
On the other hand, I'm of the opinion that the Mac OS and bundled software are more intuitive and generally better for most peoples' purposes, although I wouldn't switch since I'm so used to Windows.

I prefer Mac. The os is well built, clean, and free of errors.
Apple does an excellent job of making a user friendly computer, they tend to focus on things Microsoft left out.
That is why the iPhone is so popular, it is easy to use, just like their computers.
Though it does suck some games do not work, then again all I play is minecraft.
I will always be a Mac user.

I prefer Mac, because it looks cleaner and cooler functions. Though, the price range is a bit over the top. They shouldn't be selling $2,000 computers with the same specs as one I could get for $800 with Windows. But yes, I would go for Windows because games are optimised for it, unlike Mac.

Here's an idea, buy a disc of Windows 7 or something, and INSTALL IT ON YOUR MAC! Every Mac comes with 'Bootcamp' that let's you (LEGALLY) boot into either Mac OS X, or another OS. In your case, it would be Windows. You could also get a Virtual Machine program like Parallels Desktop so you can run both systems at once. This is cool 'cause it still looks like a Mac OS, but you can do everything Windows can too.

Mac is mainly for work/study and professional editing or creating. Windows is better for gaming and stuff, so my opinion is none of them. If you are those people who wants gaming and for work or study i suggest installing windows on mac like i did.
