Story:
The year is 2199. We humans are fighting against hyper-intelligent machines we built when this century started. They got too intelligent and started to figure out that when they became obsolete they would be scrapped, obviously they did not like this. They enslaved most of us then put us in machines that made us see the world a century ago. This world is called the Matrix. One of us broke free from the Matrix and started to free others. The world is filled with darkness and the machines harvest humans from the Matrix to keep themselves alive. We fight a war that we are losing but the captain of our noble ship has just un-plugged what the Oracle calls "the Chosen one" he is our best chance of winning this war. Heck lets just hope they can beat those Agent Smiths those guys hang around the Matrix lookin' for us so they can kill us. We've been findin' a lot of Red Pills recently, these guys are people still in the Matrix but they have the same powers as we do in the Matrix we need to get them out before they are harvested.

Isn't this how it happened:
Man designed machines, machines became self aware, man saw them as threat and declared war on them, war went on for decades, man was losing. In a desperate attempt to win over the machines, man blocked out the sky, removing the solar driven machines power source.
The machines adapted, they transformed their creators into powerstations. But humans are a bitch, they require stimulation to keep functioning and thus the matrix was created.
Man > Machine > Sentient > Threat > War > Lost > Matrix

Well, turns out when I was visiting my grandma at the hospital, there's a small chance I might have been exposed to a deadly disease. If I was, then I wont be able to get on at all.
That just reminded me... Has anyone else EVER had the temptation to dress up as the grim reaper and stand outside an old peoples home/hospital? I have.... Once....

No, you would be put into the Matrix with the machines from the film. I wouldn't allow making things float at will because your supposed to blend in, in a way. A missing-link (i forgot the actual name) is someone who knows about the matrix and what not but is still plugged in
A few questions, If I was an unplugged In the Matrix I could make things float essentially at will? What's a missing link? So as an Un-Plugged I could hack myself into the matrix upon will?
