I saw a thread about remembering 9/11 and none of you even remembered that it's my birthday.
That's fine, though. I celebrated without all of you anyway.

Let's just stop this right here.
1
Yes, and there's already DOZENS upon DOZENS of Blogs and threads for this same thing, we get it, it's "Tragic"
1
hey people i know people die every day across the globe this 9/11 event is noted for the U.S. i just posted this for the people that died that day and there was a lot (at New York).

If you think well enough about it WaterNode, the facts start to line up.
1
The US also incited the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor by cutting of Fuel Exports, angering the Japanese, and so they attacked

some of the people helping in the attack killed the plain driver before they could hit the white house .... go them!
1
I knwp in it people were racing down the stairs getting away from rubble and that there might of been bombs in the walls
1
I don't see how it would be disrespectful, most people over the age of 12 (I hope) know about the attack, but I don't think that people need to make a big uproar about it. Thousands die everyday across the globe, it is no different than 9/11.
We all know this was a tragic event, but it isn't near as bad as things that have happened before.

Whoever trolls or spams on this post is evil. A tragic day indeed. ):

"Hey, remember 11 years ago when thousands of Americans died? We should totally make a big deal out of that and remind everyone about it!"
1
I second this. You people make a big deal over one little US-Government-planned-and executed-to-make-it-look-like-Terrorists-attack, yet blind to the fact that this kind of killing goes on across the world EVERY. SINGLE. DAY, and you just merely shake your heads and continue with your lives. It's one disaster you stack up and call it worst than the Soviet Massacres, or even the Pol Pot Genocides, and hell, even Rwanda Genocide.
1
So you are one of those people that believe in the conspiracy, eh?
1
Absolutely right. While I don't necessarily agree with the whole thing being faked, and it is a tragic event, there are much worse things that have happened before.
Just to name a few horrific events, which people seem to think aren't near as bad as 9/11:
The Holocaust
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Bombings
Cambodian Genocide
Nanking Massacre
The list goes on and on.

It's to give our prayer's and hopes to the fallen, Asshole.

Those who died are in a better place now, and making a big deal about it brings up horrible memories. It's like saying, "Let's get in a lengthy and in-depth conversation about the Holocaust with all of our Jewish relatives!"
I'm just saying, making a big deal out of tragic events just makes deep wounds even deeper. Also, Bush made 9/11 sound a lot worse than it was, so I am naturally (as someone who hates Bush) against most 9/11 hype.

Hey it would be disrespectful if we didn't remember the people that died in 9/11

My Heart Goes Out Too All That Have Too Deal With This Tragedy.
1
I am happy someone has made a post in honor of those that died on 9/11.
1
919,967 people have died on the other side as well not to be disrespectful...and that was the 2010 count the other side had lost.
My best wishes to those who had lost family or friends on 9/11.

Yes we all acknowledge this tragic event. But this thread will fill up with spammers trollers and people who are disrespectful to the passed away.
1
Sadly some people are disrespectful of events like this, but it shouldn't stop the posting of these sorts of threads. We all know 9/11 jokes are just plane wrong, and that it's nothing to laugh about. After all, six Muslims died in that tragic event.
1
I'm sorry, but I couldn't help LOL'ing at "just plane wrong".
1
Oh my gosh...
Let's let them take care of themselves before expecting every American heart to be captivated by events like theirs.
Either way, it was Bin Laden and Al Qaeda that terrorized us in 9/11, not those who were being mistreated by their gov't. 9/11 is set aside to remember the deaths of those in the Pentagon, the plane heading toward the White House, and the World Trade Center.
There's a time and place for everything, and remembering the mistreated middle-easterners on 9/11 is like going on an Easter Egg hunt on Christmas.
And let's also not forget how in the middle east, there are different denominations of Islam itself fighting against one another on their own turf. It isn't like every bad thing that happened to Muslims in history was caused by Christians or Europeans.
ZemorThis was a horrible tragedy- no doubt.
But, just think about all those people in the middle east, murdered by their own governments? Look at the Syrian uprising, for example. Over 20,000 civilians dead, and counting. Does anybody seem to care about them? No.
I just felt like that needed to be pointed out, no disrespect to any family members of 9/11
victims.

I do agree with this strongly
1
May God rest the souls of everyone who died in that horrible attack. Bin Laden is burning in Hell now.
1
Very True but, we still live on with the memory
1
I am thankful that the white house attack failed
1
Yes we all are if it didnt fail then the country would go to war thank you for makeing this post to honor the people who lost their lives in this tragic event
1
We all are...
1
Thankfully these events that happen make our country stronger in a way.
1
so... a moment of silence for the roughly 2,000 people that died in the attacks on the world trade center, the pentagon, and the white house (failed)... and also for the roughly 100,000 that died in the war that continues to this day.... I'm not mitigating their deaths, just saying we went overboard in our mad crusade for vengeance. (and oil.)
1
Like the post....Thanks for your respect for the innocent who have fallen
1
Every other U.S. citizen is just as sad. Some simply cannot let go of what happen, for it affected their family. Many others just have to move on. Sadly, this event is something that for sure affected U.S. history.

This moment was tragic. I was in school when this happened. I actually remember watching the second plane crash into the second tower on our schools TV.

This is very true

I acknowledge your concern about this. Many people lost there family's in this. Including mine. My Father was lost to this attack, I was very close to him. And I nearly cried every time I thought about him. Although I was 7 at the time.
1
I am very sorry for you i will never forget this tragic event
1
Indeed...

Those were some evil terrorists...
