So i was browsing around the internet when i found a website called minecraft.com. The top of their homepage says "MineCraft Consulting" even though it has nothing to do with minecraft. The homepage says:

MineCraft Consulting is a professional engineering consultancy providing mining, mechanical and electrical engineering, and project management services to the coal mining industry. Based in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia, MineCraft specialise in underground coal mine engineering however also provide support to opencut coal and related mining projects."
As far as i can tell they are not affiliated with Mojang AB in any way, and they have their own company name "MineCraft Consulting Pty Ltd."
Does anyone know what's going on here, and does Mojang AB know about this?

ha i used to play on a server with a forums, and the website was sandcmc.nn.pe but i typed sandc.nn.pe and wound up in an oil drilling site... wierd how that works isnt it.
I would think it were stupid if they were just domain squatting, but they're real. As in Google Maps has a picture of their business real. It's not their fault that a game with the same name as their company just happened to become insanely popular. In fact, I think it was rather sporting of them to not sue Mojang AB for using the name without their permission (unlike the publishers of a certain action RPG series that we all know and love ).
Maybe, just maybe, they're a legitimate business. Huh?
