Is minecraft demonic?
I was wondering if minecraft was demonic because it clearly portrays the affects of satanism by showing that fact that u can go to hell "neather" and coming back and then all the mobs?
can anyone help..

as much as I prefer to show religious tolerance, I expect it from the people who post here. There is no such thing as a "debate" with some people because for them, there is simply "I'm right, you're wrong." As far as I (and the rest of the moderator team) think, this is a waste of forum space, and the thread will be locked. Do not post religious threads only to use it to flame.

The original question does bring up an excellent point though. At the core minecraft is not demonic but it's world that we have developed might be. First you have the night creatures that consist of spiders, undead, a shadow traveler, and a suicidal creature. Just the concept of the creeper yells out demon, this creature has nothing in its life except to find and blow up on you. The endermen is just a nervous creature and is easily startled and the undead no matter how you look at it had to be alive at some point. Then you have the nether, a demonic plane of existence that you can travel to. Plus theres also the end suggesting the endermen are not even from your world but this one where they are at peace. Then of course there's the fandom of herobrine that goes even deeper into this dark universe. We also have to remember that this lovable game came from the original concept of a horror survival game that went to being awesome. So I think yes is a reasonable answer.

Ironically the reason I mention the herobrine fandom was for this fact, in some mods there is a summoning ritual and also the wither has a summoning ritual. The real answer I think is yes and no, minecraft is a game about imagination. This is a place that can be anything to anyone. So you want it to be demonic go for it, want it to be little bunny fru fru go for it, want it to be cod go fuck yourself and play guncraft. FOR THOSE IDIOTS WHO TAKE THE COD PART SERIOUSLY ITS A JOKE!!!

No, no it isn't, some mods may add 'demonic' attributes, but the game itself is not demonic, the nether is just a plane of existence, which is not demonic. The only reason Minecraft could be construed as 'demonic' is if your a complete moron.
