almost every mod without modloader include tells me to dreag a file into minecraft.jar but when i do so it makes a noise and says im not allowed or something
and i also need to know hoe to download modloader and where to do so

Make sure Java isn't running at the time. That causes most problems: Editing archive files while they are being used. Best way: Restart your PC
