Have you tried the sweep tool or watever it is if you click on me and scroll down to my assassin skin you will see what that tool can do
Conquer is right, Paint.NET is the way to go for really good skins. It's what I used for all of mine.
I like how minersshoes has it set out though and al ittle less choice of colour is a small price to pay for such a nice set up...
