Hello all,
I have sat down, wasted 4 seconds of my life to work on maths and figured out a big surprise. If there is a total number of 135,428 members and a total number of 12 moderator (excluding forum mods they rank lower than that of a global [or was it a site mod] mod)... i have come to a conclusion of that 1 moderator moderates a total of 11285 members. That may not seem a big number, but if u think about that all the mods were not as equally active ( i wont name them) some mods will have twice, triple or even quadruple the number a normal share of mod should take.

well if u take into account the fact that there is ever only a 3000 people on at once... there is practically only just 250 per modarator... that just reduced everything.

and really, you guys aren't bad... I think about some other forums I've seen (*cough official forums cough*) and I'm glad I'm moderating HERE.

Well Moderators don't exactly "moderate" people. Obviously they ban and kick people when they need to, but the main reason the Moderators are here is to increase our happiness of the site, once again ban/kick rule breakers, and to mainly follow the rules. Also out of the 130,000 members, like you said most are inactive, and also most of them are just puppet accounts by other people. So if we eliminate the in-active members and the puppet accounts we would probably have somewhere around 95,000 to 100,000 members.

5642 is still a big number but not that much major stuff goes on around here. PMC is a good community you know.

that is very interesting but if you add the number on inactive players and the players that dont have a chance oh being mod because they have been temp banned and kicked multiple times i think you could take away about 3-4 hundred off that number

Yes half the members are inactive. but that just adds to the server database. People make a account then leave it alone. Download the maps, skins or texturepack as a guest. Most of the active ones has posted something and are very active in the forums.

Very good researching ... but probably a quarter of PMC users are inactive or just made an account and left it.
