No need for a i7, you won't be using what it offers. The 4670k and the 4770k have the same performance in-game.
No need for anything more than 8GB's of ram.

Why a liquid cpu cooler? The 212 EVO is just as good, if not better.

Why a z87 motherboard? Why not bump up to the newer and better z97's?

a 280x is cheaper, which having about the same performance

And Windows 8.1 is better for gaming. On the hardware we are recommending, you'd get about 20% more performance with 8.1 over 7.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro (OEM) (64-bit)

Good, and this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-mothe ... thz97mark2 is what I'd get, but it's ~180 dollars. Or go with this cheaper one; http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z97kcsm.

Although, the sabertooth would be better.

And I mean the r9 280x. AMD card, it runs about the same performance, but is cheaper (And has higher FPS in BF4, with mantle)

You can't overclock with this, but you won't need to. It will pretty much max out any modern or even next-gen game at 1080p or 1440p maybe even 4K.

You could go with this, it's overkill for everything you want it to do. And it'll play every game possible, on high/ultra settings, at well over 60 FPS.

P.S. On minecraft, it'll get well over 150 FPS while recording, which is overkill, but you can play/record other games as well.

But, if you wanna go to the higher end of your budget, you could get this. This is all you'd need to max out 1080p gaming. You could get a better gpu, for 1440p+, but then you'd need a better monitor (~$200 more), and such.
