This post is just to spread awareness about Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. PANDAS is a disorder that a surprisingly large number of children under the age of 15 get due to having strep when they were young. About 1 out of 100 children get PANDAS, and I was the unlucky 1 out of the 100. A few of the most telltale symptoms are thinking that everything is poisoned, having symptoms of OCD, ect. I think that I'm going to end it here, before I start going into the more personal stuff, but if you would like more information, PM me or reply to this post.
If you read all of this, thanks

My Pandas Will Write Millions Of Dictionaries

Ok . . . Have fun with that . . .

But pandas are great and fluffy and non-racist.

Yes, pandas are. However, PANDAS is none of those things.
1
Kinda off topic, pandas are actually making themselves extinct.
Well, hope this disease doesn't turn into something too bad. :/

What does screaming it have to do with anything.
Naahhh i'm just making extremely offensive jokes about someone's disease!

RoseOfShiRoseOfShiWell I'm hoping everyone that actually has PANDAS finds a way out like you Grace, I mean I myself was paranoid of the dark I wouldn't leave my room and I'd always have a light on when I was a bit younger so I kinda know how it feels and it's not the best of feelings...
Ok, the best way I can describe PANDAS is like that, only two times worse and feeling like that constantly. And I would agree, I too hope everyone who has PANDAS can either find out about it so that they can take proper medications, or just be like me and take the cure for PANDAS on accident, then discover PANDAS, and then help spread awareness.

Oops sorry double posted had to rewrite this one... ignore this.

I feel like this is going to turn into something on the Internet like OCD and about people "having" the disorader. I mean, if you do have PANDAS, then good luck. That's all I have to say.
1
Maybe eventually, but at this point PANDAS is such a new discovery that barely anyone has ever heard of it.
1
Well, to you I say CATS (lets try to find a Cure for thAt Terrible diSorder thingy)
1
There is actually one, the real problem is that barely any people who actually have PANDAS are diagnosed with it because it is such a new discovery. I was given the medicine because it also doubles as medicine for a common sickness (I forget what one) and I got better. If I hadn't taken it, instead of educating PMC on it, I would be hiding under my bed, sure that the "little men in the walls are coming to kill us all." Yes, that is an example of the sort of effects PANDAS can have on people.
1
I think I might have PANDAS then... cause I always say, "little men in the walls are coming to kill us all.". Something along those lines.
1
Do you truly believe yourself when you say that? Didn't think so.

Pandas don't type m8.
Anyway this seems pretty bad, and I never heard about it.

I see you were one step ahead of me!

When I had PANDAS, I had to see my parents eat food first, then trade plates with them, and that barely helped. I learned to control it but just barely, and by thinking things like "If they wanted me dead, I would be dead."

After looking around at Google for a bit I've decided to ask without looking myself at all the symptoms but just checking to make sure it's true, what do you mean by thinking everything is poisoned? Do you think your own food your mother has cooked is poisoned or something along the lines of every single plant is killer? Or what?

Paranoia of thinking that everything is poisoned with a lethal substance
