Ps3 help

i just need to ask a question here.

i have a copy of gta but i bought it when i was on holiday in ameriaca... so the code on it is american, my accout is registered in the uk.

so im trying to buy the dlc but it is only for the uk code


so the question is

"if i create a new ps3 account and register it to the us, will i be able to download the us version of the dlc?''
