Personally, I'll probably end up getting the WiiU before the other two.
Mainly because I know Nintendo makes good games. To me, it doesn't really matter that it's graphics are worse, graphics and such are of no matter to me.
Hell, Minecraft is what brought us all here, why are people here even talking about graphics. XD

Personally, I don't see why it's such a big deal. Personally, I choose based on games.
I'm sick of these kind of things. When did gaming turn from having fun playing games into faceless people bashing on each other from behind keyboards?
Sigh.

Just so you guys know and don't get disappointed, the PS4 has already developed two major problems.
1) They have messed up the dimensions of the HDMI cable slot so PS4s you get on the release date may not work well. (source: Sony's Twitter)
2) There have been many complaints about random freezes during games. (Reddit's PS4's subreddit)
Sure the xbox one has problems too, such as a huge price tag and a requirement to always have kinect plugged into the xbox for it to work, as well as weaker specs to PS4, and privacy problems (kinect still runs after xbox one is turned off.).

ok the ps4 is better because you cant say xbox has better online service anymore because sony just upgraded theirs and you have to pay to play online like an xbox now so that removes the whole online is better on xbox thing. yes the xbox controller is more comfortable but the ps4 controller has a ton of more features like speakers built in social media at a click of a button a headphone jack and a touch sensor on it which allows for more control options in games the ps4 is also cheaper and has more memory for games plus ps4 also has more and will continue to release more ps4 exclusives where as xbox only has like 4 exlusives ps4 has like 10 or more plus ps4 updated their graphics whereas xbox did not so all in all ps4 is the way to go plus you get it sooner

Lets be honest. I could post a list stating pro's and con's for arguments sake. However I prefer this wondrous song to state my argument on these next-gen consoles.

Personally I'm buying the PS4 (if I buy either) purely because I've always had a play station, and neither has significant advantage over the other, it's almost toss a coin.

But that said neither of them will have super smash bros 4, and if Nintendo get the rights to add Zero as well as megaman (because let's face it, Zero works better in a SSB style game) then I will totally buy a Wii U. The only thing that could veto that is Megaman X9 being released PS4 exclusive, and Capcom aren't likely to do that.

Yep, Xbox 1 will have a bad reputation, and financial problems, noone will buy it! So personally, i Would go with PS4!

Also, know-one's brought up that the PS4 has upgraded it's graphics card, while Xbox has downgraded theirs. No-one said about the PS4 controllers touch screen either?

I would considering getting an Xbox before all of the bad features were announced, I know their removed now, but the fact that Xbox considered them in the first place would make me question the Xbox team's reliability. I mean, what if there was another strange update in the future or something?

Nice to see that there are people on this post willing the share their views without trying to prompt a flame war.

I like Kingdom Hearts so I don't care. But I won't be getting a new console before I'm eighteen so I don't care. And I like Nintendo better (Yay Zelda) so I don't care. But I like the Xbox controller. Anyway, PC rocks.

Let me just say this here since it is already happening. If you disagree with someone's choice, that is fine, telling them they are wrong for having an opinion differing from yours or that their opinion makes them a noob is not, and anyone who continues doing that gets a free ban.


I personally prefer Sony as a whole compared to Microsoft, but I definitely would pick up an Xbox for the achievement system, and while trophies serve the same purpose they just don't feel the same to me. Honestly the one thing that would have sealed it on its own isn't an exclusive this generation, so I could pick it up on either console in like 2 years when they stop putting off the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. That one game could sell me either system on its own.

Read the daily mail review about the xbox one, it's so funny. Probably won't go too well if I say it on PMC though (it's a bit rude. ).

Dosnt matter what Xbox dose to the xbox 1 the ps4 is going to be better. I have a xbox 360 atm but ive just heard to many bad things about the xbox 1 to buy it.

The Xbox is technically always on because the kinect can detect your waving of your hand to turn on... So definitely PS4!!!

Although I've been hearing bad things about it, I have to go with the Xbox One. Mainly because I've had an Xbox (Both original and 360) almost all of my life. For me, it is kind of a tradition. Plus, I've never really liked the Playstation's controllers. They just feel awkward. Even though I'm not getting a next gen console for a while, I'm picking the Xbox One. (But no matter what console I choose, I can't wait for The Elder Scrolls Online!)

I still prefer Nintendo consoles over both of them, but I'll vote for playstation

Sure I was an xbox 360 fan(Before that Ps2) but really. Halo? That sucks, bungie said screw that, we're going to destiny. So forget halo. Bungies halo was good, but the crap they have now? No. Ryse? Okay cool, but Planetside 2? amazing.(AND ITS FREE) Cool, I can turn my xbox on with my voice! Cool... My mom can turn it off when I'm at round 58 on blackops...

Oh look! It cost 500$ when the Ps4 cost 400$ and is way better...

-Can use your voice instead of your controller to get to Netflix/Hulu, etc.

-I think they have better exclusives, such as Halo, Forza, Dead Rising, Ryse, earlier COD content.
-Also, I may be a little bit biased, I've been playing Xbox over Playstation all my life. ;3

PS4 OFC Free games? Hell yes. 100$ less and better, with more memory? Double hell yes. You can't top Destiny + planetside 2(<-- free!)
