YOUTUBE UPLOADING QUESTION
Hey, I'm uploading Youtube videos, all of my videos are the same file type and everything, so I go to upload one today and Youtube says it couldn't convert the file? It's and AVCHD File and normally uploads perfectly FINE. My Youtube channel is: http://www.youtube.com/user/eshawman Just in case. Please help me, I'm not re-recording these as they're a Let's Play.

This works too, but may make some motion blur...

I haven't tested it for viruses, but I do use it and Norton '12 doesn't detect anything.

I'll try it if what I'm doing now doesn't work, thanks for the help (:
It also reduces the file size for faster Youtube uploading.
RoxthesoxNiko BellicRoxthesoxAre you using fraps to record? If not what file are you left with after recording?
No, no, no. I'm recording my PS3 With my Hauppage HD PVR Gaming Edition. It gives me an AVCHD Video with an M2TS File Extension. It used to upload... Not anymore. All of my other videos have the exact same properties. So I just don't see WHY it doesn't work anymore ((
I can't help you then, sorry.
It's okay, thanks for offering though (:

I should mention that
1: WMM is free to download if you cannot find it,
2: Rendering a 15 min video in 720 takes about an hour for me.

I have WMM Live, and normally on Youtube it takes like 3 or 4 hours for me. This time though it just freaking decided to not convert for whatever reason so I'm doing as you said right now to see if that helps at all.
frp, I'm not risking my quality going down, thanks though (:
Justa, I am on a PC yes so I will try and do what you said, I will get back to you soon to let you know how it goes.
Thank you both !

Most likely, Youtube said 'screw you' and updated it. If you are on a PC, just search in your Start menu for Windows Movie Maker, Then, in WMM, open your file, drap and drop it into the time line, click File, then Publish Movie, select playback on my computer, then select where you want it to go, then click 'more settings', click the drop down menu, and select Windows Movie in 720 or in 1080.
If you are on a mac/linux, I cannot help you. D:

probably the best way to convert the files without spending any money would be to download camstudio (http://camstudio.org/) then record your computer playing the file. It may bring down the quality of your video slightly but at least you will be able to upload them. Hope this helped!
Okay, converting COSTS MONEY. I just need to know why this is happening! Please help.
Sigh.. Fine I guess I can try and look into it a bit more.
im not sure then
But it shouldn't do that should it? I mean it works perfect then all of a sudden one of the videos with the EXACT properties just doesn't upload and says it can't be uploaded... That's not normal :/
try converting them online just type in:
convert videos to WMV
convert videos to WMV
that makes the quality really really bad though... I just want to know why it's doing this now... It worked PERFECT before.
Please someone help
