Dude use dxtory it doesn't run as hard on your computer as fraps while recording.

Sorry dude, but with those frames, your just gonna need to majorly upgrade your PC. Cause i personally get 200+ without recording, then when i use fraps it drops to a nice and stable 60. If your gonna upgrade, plan on spending over 300 bucks, cause you dont wanna get the cheapest stuff. Sorry for the bomb dude :

You could uze ezvid its ok

try camtasia it WILL NOT take down ur FPS i use it and i get 30 or more FPS

I know it's a bit late... but I use Ezvid - I normally get about 32 FPS and when not recording, when I record i get around 29. It's by far the best recorder I've used (it's an editor too) and its FREE! I'd reccomend trying it

What about Hypercam .. I used that on a very very old laptop ... You can define how much fps it has. I recommend in your case only 5 ..

Or camtasia studio as said before

simple... don't record on a laptop... it doesn't have the processing power...

I use Bandicam, but it causes no lag for me. The only problem is that I have the free version and it says "www.bandicam.com" at the top of my videos which sucks.

ik a video at 15 FPS wouldnt be the best, but its twice as good as 7 FPS

I have a pair of Turtle Beach PC Gaming Headphones, so a Mic won't be an issue

You should try Debut Professional. It works well but you might need a microphone for voice if you're doing a commentary.

A better PC, I heard that software is quite good. But really if you record at 15FPS your videos will look shite.

Im gonna try an Unregistered Hypercam, to see how many FPS i can get, even if i do lose some of the quality

I use Dxtory and Fraps... Those are probably the best you can get.

use camtasia, it costs 299$ but u get a 30 day trial and just re-install it when thoose 30 days is out:) in camtasia u get video editer and much more cool stuff for your videos:) please subb to me
