Hello, I need someone to answer this simple question for me.
DO resourcepacks allow armor that has the 1.8 Format with the left and right legs and arms and hat layer?

No the formating is diffrent for a texture pack then then in a skin

Try it and find out. But I'll take a guess and say probably not.
