the character development is top notch and it as a lot of diversity!
it also gives development to the side characters too instead of bringing in new ones every episode!

Winx Club. I've been watching it for years and years, and have seen almost every episode more than twice. It did some things other (really great) shows failed to do. For example, the adults are competent, kind people. They aren't caricatures, but they don't take over the show either.They just stick in the background, come out to help when needed, but you actually see them helping, and a good amount of of the time, unlike some other shows. (Cough cough Princess Celestia cough) However, I don't like what Nick has done with it. It's not bad, but compared to the older versions, the newest version is pretty boring, cliche, and plain. Plus they got the pixies for Tecna and Musa wrong... There is 6 seasons, so you'll have plenty of episodes to see.

Why GF? Because i love the art style, the voice fit the characters so well,i love the plot, and how some things have been planned from the beginning of the show!

From what I've seen, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra were both great, but ATLA is better.
But I really want to watch Gravity Falls and Adventure Time, both of those sound really great.

Gravity Falls or the Polish Version of the Penguins of Madagascar Nick cartoon. Why the Polish version? Because the dialog is a lot funnier. For example "You will still be vomiting like a German Bershersmit!"

Steven Universe all the way!
Steven Universe manages to beat out a lot of shows - mostly more comedic shows like Spongebob or Looney Toons - because it's consistently good, whereas those shows are brought down by their bad episodes.
Gravity Falls and Avatar: The Last Airbender also have amazing stories and are/were consistently good (Adventure Time too, though it has its ups and downs), but Steven Universe is my personal favorite.

Adventure Time and Gravity Falls are pretty much the only ones keeping me watching cartoons :/
So yeah, those are pretty great (not that I don't look at Regular Show and a couple others, but the ones above are my favorite ).

Some of the best cartoon series I've come across: The Simpsons, Family Guy (earlier seasons only), Adventure Time, Futurama, Over the Garden Wall, and Animaniacs
I haven't seen Steven Universe or Rick and Morty, but I hear they're good so I might check them out.
