Hello everyone. As all of you may know, there are a lot of modders, coders, and video game creators.
I want to know where you got started, how long you've been making apps or coding of any sort, and where I (a very very noobie noob) can get started.
I want to create apps for Android or iOS (especially games or productivity applications) and be able to know the language fluently. Such as fixing bugs, point out the lines of code that is written, etc.
Books, video tutorials can all work for me. Money isn't really much of an issue. I really need help and I want to learn how to code very efficiently and fast.

If you want app dev for smartphones and such. Go for Androids first. Reason being: If you every want to host it on Google Play (App store) It's free. Costs $90 a year on the Apple app store.

An easy beginner language would be Java or C++.

I started with HTML and then moved on to javascript I learned tid bits of javascript on the way though because HTML is intertwined with javascript.
Starting with HTML is good to get you into coding, but is useless for everything except websites. Also I'm pretty sure that Android/IOS apps aren't coded in javascript, so learning javascript would be a waste of time

For Python, check out codecademy. It's free and will give you decent knowledge. If you really want to get into it you can buy some books later on.

Codecademy is just a website where they don't teach much of the fundamentals and it's like 'Sprinkles on the cupcake for the final touchings'. I want to get into the roots of everything and be able to learn everything.
I'm also more interested in Java too. Not sure if I should start with Python though. Well are the two languages completely different from each other? Like is it two separate lexicons?
