The PMC and the Minecraft community in general used to be way more active... It seems like everyone just leaves and forgets about it. I did too but I've returned after a year and the active community is way less. I used to get hundreds or even thousands of downloads a day on my submissions. Now I can't even get 100.
It's sad how this is going... Most players don't have the same passion for the community as before. I don't know if it is worth keep working on new projects.

I think that pmc is less popular, most people moved to instagram, reddit, twitter, etc.
There isn't even demand for maps anymore, most people just wanna post their builds. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
