What do you want to be when you grow up?

Hey Minecrafters!
I have been asking my friends this question; "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
I find it interesting seeing what others want to be when they grow up, So Why not ask fellow Minecraft players like me? So here I am asking you what you want to be when you grow up. Lastly, if you have already grown up, then feel free to say what you wanted to be when you were younger!
What I want to be:
I would like to be 2 things, I'd like to join the military like my father and become a Navy Seal or a Army Ranger; Both are really hard to get into.
If not I would like to become a Architect and design buildings for people and possibly make a company with my cousin and best friend.
Once I get older (Like 55-60's) I would like to study Polar Bears for the rest of my life.
Yup, some pretty big dreams right here.

I'd love to be able to turn back the clock and be back at your age and have this choice again. I'm 20 so I am "grown up", I kept changing my mind and ended up not aspriting to any one thing in particular.
If I could start over, I'd love to get into animation/modelling. Happy to be indie so long as I have enough money to put food in my mouth and keep the computer turned on

i'd like to be an architect. but that career is no good. they don't make money and they don't offer jobs in the position.
the next best thing is an engineer. specifically, a civil or architectural engineer. both are difficult to succeed in, yet they make more money, and you're more likely to get a job.
the reason why it's difficult is because math and physics are heavily involved. like, very heavily involved. you won't be an engineer if you don't know advanced physics.
and that's where my problem is. i want to be an engineer because it's the same job as an architect, and i want to be an architect because i want to design buildings.
i suck at math.
like, really suck. i never had a good math teacher. ever.
the math department at my high school is below average. everyone knows it. except the teachers themselves. my math foundation is completely off. and as a result, my physics foundation is completely off. i'm in ap physics. it's the most difficult class in the entire school. the entire school. and there i am. in that class. struggling to get a D, because i want to be an engineer, because i want to design things.
i am upset at myself. i am upset at my math teachers. i am upset at myself more than anything, though. it's my own fault.
it's all very silly. i don't know why i posted this. just to get it off my chest i guess.

Come on man, you can do it! You won't get any where in life if you don't try. Also, you serve a good point with the archutectial statement, but who designed the the Empire State Building? Football stadiums? Celebritie Mansions? Architects. ;P

Dude, where were you when they handed out good math teachers? I've never had a bad math teacher.

You should really consider some change in where you go to school... I wanted to be a civil engineer for a while. They make any where from 66 to 110 an hour. But you gotta be skilled. But now I'm gonna start coding PC games!

My Dad is an architect, and we live in a 900k house and he owns his company, the pay is good, and there is work in that department.

That is the branch my father serves in, it's a nice branch. All if thier bases are the best!

While I like writing, most people who call themselves that are either world-wide best-selling authors... Or they're like people who call themselves "actors" when they haven't had a decent gig in a few years.
I personally intend to be nuclear physicist with some form of minor degree in theoretical physics. I could care less if I get paid a small fortune a month or I barely have enough to live. I wish to do so for the purposes of continuing the research into nuclear energy, as so many people seem to think it's dangerous, expensive, and that somehow other forms of "green" energy are better. All of these are myths (Depending on how advanced solar/wind can get... It wouldn't be the first time I had been surprised) and I intend to prove these wrong and forward the future of humanity as a whole at some point or another. Whether it is as important as Nikola Tesla was or as small a thing as discovering a new type of dirt... I will do so as it is my duty to humanity. I owe them nothing less.
I might even find the time to settle down, get a lovely little ranch house and perhaps write a story or two during my time. If we're getting whimsical and we can do everything we want with our life, I would also get married and perhaps adopt a kid. Grow old with my hubby and all that jazz. But nuclear reactors first. Always, always.

I would assume lots of people on here would like to go into game programming and design. Thats my top priority, other wise it would be special effects makeup(movie monsters and etc) or else a successful guitarist. Most of those are hard, but i excel in all categories of these jobs ;D

Back when i was your age i wanted to go into something with woodworking... went into that field for about 6mths and stopped because i didnt like it...
then ended up as a web developer / designer which is something i never wanted to do and be stuck behind a desk..
If i could change anything i would now have gone into game development instead of web development... BUT in 26... so still not to late to try lol
TIP: Just because you love something now does not mean you would still love it if you had to do it as a profession.....

I am wanting to go to collage for machinist and welder. Then after collage I would like to go to the military so they will pay for my collage, and since I would be skilled I would not be in the front line, I would be working on vehicles and such. And once I serve my time in the military I would become a underwater welder at a oil rig or some place like that, that pays a lot since it is dangerous.
