You mean an SDK? SDK stands for Software Development Kit, it's essential if you want to learn to code in any language.

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.2.2-201302041200/eclipse-SDK-4.2.2-win32.zip
This is a direct link to the 32 bit Windows download for Eclipse, probably the most used SDK for Java.

Basically you should just get some idea for a project to work on. Use the internet as a reference to figure things out as you go. I'm currently working on a Java SWT thing. If you want to, you may add me on skype, I could send some code whenever i write some. My skype is on my about me.

http://www.code.org/
A great website for those who want to learn a few programming languages. I don't believe Java is included, however, for those with no programming experience, this is probably the best place to start. It was set up by Bill Gates (Microsoft Chairman) and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook Founder), so it at least has some level of legitimacy . These tutorials are in text, not so great for the visual learner, but they provide plenty of examples to make up for it.

http://thenewboston.org/tutorials.php
Fantastic website for learning just about anything. From Photoshop to Java, and even on how to make beer, this is your one stop shop for great quality tutorials. It's much faster pace however than code.org, so be prepared to do some trial and error on your own. It also requires more tools. If you're going to learn Java, you'll need a SDK, while at code.org you only need a browser (which you are using right now). These are all video tutorial, great for the visual learner who needs to see what's actually being done.

http://www.academicearth.org/courses/programming-methodology
A ton of free video lectures from Stanford's Computer Science course are found here, and are completely free. I myself have watched several and they are very informative and let you see what a college class will be like. These are college level videos on learning Java. However, the class assumes you don't know anything else other than how to find your power button, so you should be fine.

This is how you learn Java. Collaborating is fantastic, but you're going to have to do a little bit of research on your own if you want to be successful.

Personally I find Java to be more fun to code (especially for Minecraft), you and your group might have more fun learning Java and you could even make your own bukkit development team ^_^

I want to learn to code, but you need something like Java SE and they don't have it for 32 bit computers. Do you really need SE and if you do, where is the 32 bit version?
(I was watching Scmows modding tutorial but I got stuck because I couldn't find 32 bit)

Java SE just stands for Java Standard Edition, and Java comes standard on almost every computer you buy nowadays, so I would be VERY surprised if your computer didn't have some version of Java on it. Also, if you want to code Java it depends because there is JavaScript (Java for the web) and just plain Java (applications, bukkit plugins, etc.), they're both Java but are both written in different ways. You can write both JavaScript and Java in any text editor but if you want to write in plain Java I highly recommend getting Java JDK (Java Development Kit) from Oracle's website (it makes it 100x easier!). Best of luck!
