I've seen others with the same issue but none have worked for me.
For a bit of background - I have a RTX 4070 Ti and a i7 13700KF - I run basically all other games on full graphics and I get well over the fps I get on Minecraft Bedrock. I have the most recent drivers and bedrock version.
Now, it seems as though my FPS is capped at 165 which makes sense as that is the hertz of my monitor and I have vsync enabled in my folders and in the nvidia control panel for Minecraft. The weird thing is is when I disable vsync I get around 90 fps and the performance drops significantly.
I also should mention when I tab off of Minecraft and I am say searching up stuff on my other monitor I can see the fps of Minecraft bedrock get up to the high 400's in fps.
Note I also understand that anything above 165 fps is useless for my monitor but it seems when I am capped it drops more often to around 155 but when it is uncapped (i am tabbed out) it never drops below 165. I know my PC should run well above 165 regardless of settings but when its capped it will drop below occasionally.
Anyone have any ideas and or recommendations of where else I can post this for help? Thank you!!

Render distance has the most impact on performance.
I don't think it is a performance issue, my PC should be able to render more than 20 chunks. Even when I durn all the settings down the fps stays the same. Its more of a cap on fps issue
