I am a Mum who has just started trying to figure out Minecraft Bedrock edition because my son has just started playing it.
He absolutely loves his Disney movies and he has watched many videos of Shrek in Minecraft on youtube, and I have no clue how I can get Shrek in the Bedrock edition 1.18 Anyone have any mods of anything Shrek, that they know work in the Bedrock edition? If so please help lol
I have Shrek craft, but cant for the life of me figure out if it will even work.
We have Shreks house and Shreks swamp as worlds but i dont know how to get all the other characters in his Shrek worlds.
I even went to try it on the Java version, I converted all his worlds to Java and imported them no worries and was just about to try and see what mods were available and then realised that you can only play with the keyboard and mouse on the Java edition, which wont work for my son as he has severe disabilities and can only play with a playstation controller connected to my pc.
Poor bugger is begging to see his beloved Shrek Fiona and Donkey in his swamp and I cant do it for him

if your already installing java edition mods, your best bet might be to use a mod to get controller support on java edition. i've personally used MidnightControls in the past, if you're looking for a fabric mod.
Sadly bedrock doesn't have mods, yet addons which are quite similar

There may be a mod to add custom models to the game you can fix the controller issue with a forge mod called controllable you can download it Here!
Forge Is a custom mod loader for Minecraft there are plenty of tutorials on how to get it
as for bedrock there isn’t much way to load mods
If I were to guess there may be a way to import custom npcs in Java through a mod.
