Does anyone know how minecraft generates its worlds? I already know the basics like, what a seed does, and how minecraft generates worlds, but I want to know the algorithm behind Minecraft's generation. This may not be possible due to copyright restraints, but even after searching around the web for a while I could not find any info of the algorithm. (except for a 10 year old claiming he had it XD)
Any info helps! :)

Thank you for the two videos, but I was looking for a more raw answer. Sorry for not just asking for this originally! I want to see the raw code of Minecraft's Generation Algorithm.

AntVenom has a lot of videos nowadays on the technical aspects of Minecraft, including seed gen:

I've also seen a few videos on youtube explaining the science behind broken seeds (such as one that infinitely repeats across an axis) and I think that subject has a decently informative explanation on why the calculations spit out an answer of zero. Not specifically on the subject of the algorithm, but it talks about it in context:

For more of this, you can just search for "antvenom broken seed" on youtube or something. Glad to help.
