13w41b Server Problems

So I want to set up a quick server to show my friends how to use the new features. It will be Hamachi (which I can use and does work).
The problem is I can't join the server, it shows up as offline (I know how to do all the server stuff,)
I tried joining another public snapshot server but all servers are appearing offline. I'm logged in and I'm connected to the interwebs... What's going on?

My server is just offline :/
But the server that is definitely online give me this error:
Failed to connect to server:
Internal Java Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
That's a new one to me.
