3D Armor with Resource Pack?
This is probably the wrong place to ask this, but putting it in Modding or Data Packs didn't seem right either, so I'll just ask here.
I want to make a resource pack that gives the Netherite Armor set a new, 3D model with cool horns and bits that stick out.
I don't want to make a Data Pack, or a Mod that adds a new armor set, just a Resource Pack.
Is this possible without mods? If so, how would i do it, and if not, what mods would i need?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think you can edit the player model JSON to make the outer layer thicker. You should be able to open it in Blockbench and play around.
Would I then be able to give it a custom model with cool horns, plates, and bits that stick out?
