im currently trying to make a milky way skybox, and its going fairly well but my question is you can still sort of see the boxiness to the skybox, and im wondering if anybody could tell me a tip on how to make it look a little rounded

The skybox is a box, one way to help create the illusion would be to put it through an image editing software like gimp, copy and flip the left and right ends of the image and try to blend them together.
I personally would move the image across the canvas about half way, so the ends become the middle (and the ends will join perfectly), then use a blend tool to make the middle look smooth.
