So I got Minecraft few days ago ofc I wanted to set skin i want. I had been playing on ps4 and never had any problems with skins but on pc it is way harder I think. I did everything using guides,setted skin in minecraft launcher and also later on minecraft website. It says it was accepted and I can see this skin as option. I started latest release ,started singleplayer and i had default EFE skin or whatever her name is. I thought I did something wrong but then I joined Hypixel to make sure but everyone has default skin,even NPC. I asked some people about this,they can see my skin but I just cant. I checked it with friends on different versions but it still doesnt works.I tried to fix this with minecraft Essential where you can set your skin in the game but its default too.Is that even normal and I have to wait more?

You're on Java, right ?
Basically, allowing non-official version to join your server will disable all skins and capes.
In your server options, you should have this somewhere :
"online_mode=false"
Replace 'false' with 'true' and re-open the server.
