Anybody know why my server is not growing.
I run a SMP Minecraft server called acecraft and it just isn't growing at the moment
and also I can't get a color MOTD too work your help is and advice is appricated please tell what I may be doing wrong with the server-Undead

Growing a server is hard. There are three honest ways to grow a server. You advertise advertise and advertise (this also includes paying for those server banner spots if you have the money as this will boost it a lot but can be expensive and that is for a reason) or you offer something that is incredibly fun and is very unique aka like MineZ or Smash and Dwarfs vs Zombies. Usually, from my hosting experiences, only 1/6 to 1/16 people that joined the server stayed for any length of time that actually mattered and usually only 1/72 are commonly playing players.
