Bats in player made structures

I have been working on something in my minecraft world, I'm building something because I am bored, but when the world turns into night time, bats start to come in my structure, I killed them all but they keep spawning back, does anyone know how to fix this?

More light sources. Bats wont spawn in light areas.
Alternatively use a command block to kill them.
