Why is my beacon not lighting up under ground?
I wanted to make a rainbow beacon in creative but when I do that the beacon light is not coming at all! I tried to remove the pyramid and still it is not coming. Can anyone help me? Please?

The beacon can not have any blocks above it blocking the sky(with some exceptions)

Transparent blocks (glass, water, etc.) and bedrock (the nether ceiling) are allowed. - The beacon is on top of a pyramid constructed from iron blocks, gold blocks, emerald blocks, diamond blocks, and/or netherite blocks
im pretty sure they can go through slabs too
