For macs, blender is probably your best free choice.

Well, I did try, but I can't record it with Shaders mod because I can only record it in FULLSCREEN. Even if I do try to record only the Minecraft window, it would show this expansion-thingy on the bottom-right. AND I AM ON A MAC.

Mineimator is simple to use, and makes decent quality animations. You also have blender and cinema4D.

I dunno about Mineimator. I'm on a Mac, and I looked on the videos made from Mineimator, they looked a little crude to me.
