Best Minecraft Server Hosting?
OK so i have been wanting to make a server for a while now and i think that im now making enough money so that i can do it! Ive already got a lot of stuff set up but just one thing, im not sure what server hosting to use... i would like one that's decently cheap and doesn't lag too much... that's all.

Really cheap and I love them, also short support wait times

Rather than fall prey to people with affiliate/direct advertisements of their own companies as the "best", I would recommend (in order):

Game server providers usually are really overpriced, along with many disadvantages. They're good for beginners, but if you're looking for quality over price, you should get a VPS/Dedicated server. Sometimes they're cheaper than game server providers, and they give you a lot more control and better performance.
The difference between using a VPS and a game hosting provider is that most minecraft-based service providers build their CPU and general overall build horizontally rather than vertically. That is to say they put much more power behind individual cpu cores and RAM into a system than a VPS would.
In the long run, to get the same lag-free benefits that you would with a dedi you'd end up spending more money in the long run. You really only need a dedi/vps for minecraft once you start getting into larger 200-300+ player servers. I understand it's nice to have that type of control but if your bottleneck for a server is based on price a vps certainly isn't the way to go.

Ok thanks for the help everyone!
Akliz are really good, I have been with them a month now and have had no problems. I also run a tekkit server which is also outstanding. Support gets back to you in a short time of 5-10 mins maybe shorter!

I am currently using Chromobyte they are quite good and their managed plan is really helpful they go all the way to get you your plugins solve your problems and whatever u may ask related to the server pretty much but dont expect them to make a plugin for you xD their network speed is pretty good I am currently renting a server from them if u want to do a connection test here it is. Play.eoh-mc.com and its 1.7.2 (1.6.4 wont see that its online probably) prices are quite awesome also especially if u ask for a custom plan/offer they can lower like 15% off the original price
