Breaking blocks help

I have a bukkit server with some plugins that may be conflicting with breaking blocks and building

I have WorldGuard
Eessentials


I'm wondering what the permission node is for new comers to break blocks and build or a way to fix it. Please help?

Well, if you have any plugins that use ranks like GroupManager or PermissionsEX turn the Build to true because for default it's usually on false.
