Hi all. I began using the Sphax texture pack, and I made myself a custom EnderMan texture to go with it.
I remember having this happen once before many months ago but I don't remember finding a way to fix it. All I really did was edit the texture and that's all. What could have caused this and why?
Any help is very much appreciated.

Sorry, just transparent could be actual pixels showing just see-through...
Well, I'm not too sure, then.
You probably need MCPatcher or Optifine, if you don't have one of those already.
EDIT: Didn't notice title edit. Ok, then.

I have no idea...
Transparent as in no pixels at all except the enderman itself and the eyes?
Yes..
Yes I've already done that. I've already used Photoshop to remove the white and replace it with transparency as it's supposed to be done.
Ok, now, you need Paint.NET, make sure there is no white around the eyes in enderman_eyes.png, and no white in enderman.png.
Picture isn't mine
I know this is a kinda "Nooby" response, but did you try inverting the colors? If the Enderman skin was black, and it inverted to white, maybe you could invert it to white, and it will become black?
(Please note that this is just a random guess, and will most likely not work. I would recommend keeping a copy of the skin you made, to prevent "Mistakes".)

I tried it and it didn't work. I can see a lot more purple now (the color of his skin) but he's still very white and all the transparent parts of the model are showing up as white and etc.
Is there really no known way to fix this?

This seems to be a texture glitch with the endrman_eyestexture, try deleting it then remaking it completely blank. If this doesn't work, then the problem might just go away. This happened to me.
It's probably just the image source for texture packs has changed, so you might need to look up the tiling changes and fix it from a reference.
...... What? I have no idea what you said. I don't work a hole lot with texture making. So. :u
I removed the eye textures and made them completely transparent. Nothing changed. What exactly are the odds of this fixing itself? Because I don't think that would work. But I might be wrong. I probably am.

I literally laughed out loud at this response. First time I've ever done that.
