I broke my Minecraft with Optifine.
First time installing mods and.... Well, let's just say it didn't go well? I would like to know what went wrong and how I can fix it. I would not like to remove Optifine, as my computer is INCREDIBLY slow. If you have anything for me to do in order to fix it, that would be appreciated but please be detailed, I am not good at computer stuff.

When I have Optifine installed, I can go on servers but singleplayer worlds don't work! I use 1.6.2 Optifine HD B4 Standard.

If you messed up a Mod Installation, all you have to do is 'Force Update'. Optifine is very simple to install. I suggest downloading the "Ultra" version, as it has all the features. You HAVE to make sure you download the right version. (Some sites may advertise an outdated mod as an up to date mod) Just delete your 'Meta-Inf', and drag all the optifine files into the Minecraft.jar. That should take care of any misunderstandings you have.

Lol your name is Jessica lol and make sure to have Modloader incase minecraft chrashes. And also delete the Meta-inf in the jar
What I do is uninstall MC, scavenger useful data,(packs, worlds) and re install and place the data back
Delete the bin file inside your .minecraft. Launch minecraft, click options and then Force Update click Done and then log-in. Your minecraft will update. Then try again following the instructions (DONT USE MAGIC LAUNCHER).
If you want to fix it without optifine, just rename your minecraft to bin1 and force update
Umm if your using 1.5, I cant get optifine to work either?
Optifine hasnt been updated yet. Its still in preview, dont expect it to work.

Also why not use Magic Launcher? It's 10x better and doesn't cause any of these issues because you don't need to open Minecraft.jar

Ok so i see that you have mcpatcher too(if i am correct) Mcpatcher and optifine are not friends, so get rid of mcpatcher by unchecking all the boxes and say patch, and it should be gone, or do what 1b8 said
Go Options > Force Update and then Login in the launcher. Then take all of the files from Optifine and put them back in minecraft.jar. Then delete META-INF. Try it again.
If that doesn't work, then give us the full crash report, located in C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports.

Try resetting you mc.jar, then try re installing it using a video, making sure you do it the right way
How might I reset it? Delete it and re-install minecraft....?

did you try deleting the META-INF file?
The META-INF file was already gone.
