Broken Furnace Texture

When I was making the furnace, I made the furnace off texture, and copy and paste it and renamed the copy "furnace_front_on" but when I saved it and reloaded the textures, it change back to the normal furnace on texture. Please Help! (This Was also on the better textures Topic too.)
