Buggy Minercaft Server Error

Whenever I log onto a server, within the next 5 minutes, it logs me out for no apparent reason. It pretty much always happens when i'm trying to type something into the chat or executing a command. Please help.

Error message: Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Software caused abort: recv failed
