I have been trying to set up a Bukkit server for my friends. I have watched many different tutorials and I have the plugins in the plugins folder (ex. PermissionsEx, Essentials). Permissions.yml is also edited so my friends can have alot of commands except some server crashing options. I am opped in my server, and I still cannot use any commands from any plugins whatsoever. When i join my server, it starts me off with stone items. But when I scroll to them, they dissapear from my inventory. When I am opped, no commands are allowed for me. This is an annoying problem, someone please help!

Make an owner user group for yourself and give it the "*" permission. Has to be exactly like that including the quotes. That will give you every command.
