I use windows xp for playing minecraft, and I also run the server on the same computer. My other computer I was using, a windows 7 computer, worked fine with both of it running at the same time. Never any problem with using 30 plugins, ust a little bit of lag. Is there any way to stop the server lag on a windows xp running minecraft and the server at the same time? Thanks in advance!

Minecraft was released for Java version 6/7 not OS specific.
Is it really that bad?
open task manager (ctrl alt del) then go to precesses, then right click cmd and hover over set priority, set it to high or realtime, this may help :p
Minecraft was never released for use on Windows XP.
Seriously? I have an extremely hard time believing this. In your opinion, what OS was Minecraft released for?
