Bukkit Spawner placing

could anyone tell me how to place a spawner with bukkit?

PS: You can use the id "Spawner" or "52" if that doesn't work!
Essentials, I'm guessing? (Essentials did that to me, too.)
It's a quite Simple fix:
Clear your Inventory
Give yourself the Spawner
Place it
If it still didn't work, try relogging then retrying.
Use /spawner (mobtype) to change it.
