I had my server hosted at home until now, and i want to buy a host, do i have to completely remake the server or can i cut and paste EVERYTHING into the host files 1.2.3. and will it work the same?

Everything depends on which host you've chosen, but if the host has FTP, it should work fine.

First off, you most likely won't be needing to copy and paste EVERYTHING. Maybe just plugins and world files, since it'll be using Multicraft. (I think) so it will generate everything for you and you just replace everything with what you need.

You usually get the FTP details from the control panel or when you sign up. Port is always default, and you don't need to enter one in.
If you're looking for a client, rather than command-line ftp, try using FileZilla in my honest opinion. You can find download links here: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php
But the thing is i dont get the defualt port of 21, is that going to be the server port or just for FTP
The default FTP port is 21, while the default Minecraft server port is 25565.
